President William Ruto on Friday opened the St Thomas Girls’ Secondary School Complex in Kilifi county.
He said it will help by making the learning environment safe, conducive, enjoyable, secure and complete for generations who will continue the work of transforming the country.
The President said that investing in school infrastructure is investing in Kenya's future.
Ruto was accompanied by several Cabinet secretaries including Aisha Jumwa (Public Service and Affirmative Action), Ezekiel Machogu (Education), Kindiki Kithure (Interior ), Soipan Tuya (Environment) and Kilifi Governor Gideon Mung'aro and Senate Speaker Amason Kingi.
Others were National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung'wah and his deputy Owen Baya, Principal Secretary Belio Kipsang among other leaders.
