President William Ruto is currently in New York City for the United Nations General Assembly.
He has met several leaders to discuss development, technology, and other issues.
Today alone, he has met Presidents, Prime Ministers and other world leaders in different sectors.
Through a statement, the head of state said he talked with the President of Albania Bajram Begaj who expressed his country’s interest in opening an embassy in Kenya.
The strengthening of Kenya’s relations with Albania will enhance collaboration in international peace and security besides unlocking the huge trade and investment opportunities that will spur shared growth between the two nations.
Ruto also met Slovakia President Zuzana Čaputová.
The head of state said the two committed to supporting Kenya's E-mobility initiatives using their advanced e-battery technologies.
"We also agreed to partner to enhance Kenya's fertiliser production and cybersecurity capacity," he said.
Ruto also attended a meeting at the United Arab Emirates Mission to the United Nations led by COP28 President and United Arab Emirates Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber.
Ruto also met Metter Frederiksen, Prime Minister of Denmark
