[PHOTOS] Gachagua attends burial of Mama Teresia Wangechi

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Saturday joined the family and friends of Vice Chief of Defence Forces Lieutenant General Jonah Mwangi during the burial of his mother.

The burial of Mama Teresia Wangechi took place on Saturday in Ndaragwa Constituency, Nyandarua County.

Gachagua mourned Mama Teresia Wangechi as a servant of the Lord.

"We join the family, friends, relatives and faithful in celebrating the life of Mama Wangechi, Mother of our Vice Chief of Defence Forces Lieutenant General Jonah Mwangi as she is laid to rest," he said.

Gachagua also represented President William Ruto who is out of the country for the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

Also present was Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale.
