President Wiliam Ruto on Tuesday chaired a Kenya Kwanza parliamentary group meeting.
The meeting started before 8 am at State House, Nairobi.
The parliamentary group meeting comes two days ahead of the State of the nation address.
Also, it comes on the day that Senate begins the trial against Embattled Meru Governor Kawira Mwangaza.
This is the second time the governor will face trial in the Senate after only 10 months.
Among those who attended include Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Leader of Majority at the National Assembly Kimani Ichung'wah and Majority Whip Silvanus Osoro led the MPs in attending the meeting.
Leader of Majority at the Senate Aaron Cheruyiot and Bonny Khalwale, who is the Chief Whip led the Senators' side.
United Democratic Party Secretary General Cleophas Malala was also in attendance.
