It was a sombre mood as family and friends gathered at the funeral service of Jeff Dennis Khaemba who worked at K24 TV as a political Affairs producer.

The media fraternity too was not left behind as they gathered at All Saints Cathedral to honour their colleague.

Khaemba having built a legacy of good rapport with big names in the country, key leaders attended the service to pay their last respects.

Roots party leader George Wajackoyah, Nairobi Woman Rep Esther Passaris, and Dagoretti North MP Beatrice Elachi were among those who attended.

Khaemba passed away last month at Kenyatta National Hospital (KNH)  after being discharged from the same facility two days before his death. 

Khaemba was a political affairs producer at K24, a position he had held for one year and eight months. 

According to his LinkedIn profile, he has worked in various media houses, gaining experience in various media fields.

In August 2012, he joined Radio Mambo as a field reporter before proceeding to Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology (MMUST) FM as Head of News in May 2014.

Khaemba later joined Ebru TV as a reporter in January 2022, where he honed his craft in field reporting. Months later, he joined Mediamax Network as a political affairs producer.

His burial will be on Saturday.
