Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has thanked the people of Embu for entrusting the Kenya Kwanza administration with the country's leadership.
He spoke on Sunday when he attended a mass at St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Dallas.
He noted that the church is an integral part of the community, owing to its role in knitting the moral and ethical fabric of society.
He assured that the government was going to complete the projects that began in the area, including the Embu Ring Road and sewerage connection.
The Deputy President was accompanied by Embu Governor Cecily Mbarire, Senator Munyi Mundigi and Woman Rep Njoki Njeru.
MP MP Karemba Muchangi (Runyejes), Bernard Muriuki (Mbeere South), Johanna Ng'eno (Emurua Dikirr), Nimrod Mbai (Kitui East) and James Gakuya (Embakasi North) were also present.
