Githunguri Township Primary School in Kiambu County is a happy institution after 29 candidates scored over 400 marks in the released KCPE results.
The leading students, Adriel Mitwe and Richard Njunguna scored 419 followed by Christopher Njenga who managed 414 marks.

Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu said a total of 8,525 candidates scored 400 marks and above, with the highest student managing 428 marks.
The top student nationally was Michael Warutere of Riara Springs Academy.
