Kenya and India have signed five Memoranda that will see the two nations partner in efforts to boost various sectors.
The five MOUs were signed on Tuesday, following President Ruto's two-day state visit to India.
Part of the agreements signed between the two countries include allowing Kenyan avocado into the Indian market.
The tow nations will also partner in health, Information Communication Technology, energy and the SME sectors.
"Witnessed the signing of five memorandum of understanding aimed at enhancing our bilateral relations," Ruto said.
"I welcomed the decision by India to open its market to avocados from Kenya and the continued assistance in health, energy, ICT sectors and Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises."
President Ruto arrived in India on Monday and Tuesday he met the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
