Chief of Defence Forces Francis Ogolla on Thursday received the Kenya army troop that had been sent on a peace-keeping mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Three troops were sent to the DRC for a peacekeeping mission on November 12, 2022.
The troops were deployed to fight M23 rebels in the DRC in a joint regional operation.
Former CDF General Robert Kibochi saw off the team at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
The first troop had about 903 officers deployed to the region to help contain the fighting that had displaced many.
