Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua spent his Boxing day with children at his home in Nyeri.
Together with his wife, Pastor Dorcas Rigathi they hosted children at their home in Mathira on Tuesday.
"On this Boxing Day, my Spouse Pastor Dorcas and I have the pleasure to celebrate Christmas with hundreds of children at our rural home in Mathira, Nyeri," Gachagua added.
The DP and his spouse had donned matching clothes with Christmas colours.
A white sweatshirt with red stripes written 'Merry Christmas' and red trousers with white stripes on the side.
Also, they both had Father Christmas hats on.
DP Gachagua stated that children have great life lessons to teach.
"Little ones have great life lessons to teach; we have a duty to mentor and teach them the joy of sharing whatever we have," he said
