President William Ruto on Sunday visited Busia County an interdenominational prayer service at Machakusi ACK church in Teso Central subcounty.

The President landed at Malaba Township Primary School before proceeding to Machakusi ACK church for the church service.

He was welcomed by area leaders including Governor Paul Otuoma and church leaders.

The President was accompanied by Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi, Sports CS Ababu Namwamba, National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula and a host of other leaders.

The Head of State is also expected to address a series of political rallies besides initiating key development projects in the larger Teso sub-region.
