Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale on Thursday inaugurated the National Peace Support Operations (PSOs) Fund at Kahawa Garrison, Nairobi.
He also flagged off the inaugural contingent-owned equipment that is destined for the Democratic Republic of Congo to assist in restoring peace and stability.
The team is under the United Nations Organization Stabilization Mission in DRC (MONUSCO).
Present were the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) General Francis Ogolla, PS Mariru, Vice CDF Lieutenant General Jonah Mwangi, Service Commanders, General Officers and other senior military officers.
The PSOs Fund is a tangible embodiment of Kenya's unwavering commitment to peace, both within the region and across the globe.
