Senior Joint Command and Staff Course participants and Staff from the Joint Command and Staff College (JCSC) in Karen visited the Kenya Air Force (KAF) Headquarters in Nairobi.

The participants, led by the Deputy Commandant JCSC Brigadier Faustin Lobaly, paid a courtesy call to Commander Kenya Air Force Major General John Omenda.

He welcomed them emphasising the significance of the visit in performing future staff duties.

The visit was aimed at acquainting the participants drawn from the three Services of the Kenya Defence Forces with the organization, functions, roles, and capabilities of KAF in executing the mandate of safeguarding Kenya’s air space.

Also present during the event were Deputy Commander KAF Brigadier Peter Githinji, Base Commander Moi Air Base (MAB) Brigadier Samuel Kipkorir, formation commanders, and other senior officers.
