Public Service CS Moses Kuria on Sunday flagged off the Busia Border Half Marathon.
Kuria was in Busia at the invitation of Governor Paul Otuoma.
The three-part race, according to the CS is a notable testament of the close ties we continue to foster with our neighbours across borders.
It is divided into divided into 5km, 10km, and 15km, and it goes into the Ugandan side.
Kuria was flanked by among others, MSME's PS Susan Mangeni, PAS Office of the President Arthur Osiya, Teso South MP Mary Emase, as well as a host of Busia MCAs and CECs, and Athletics Kenya officials.
Some five MPs from Uganda, also graced the race.
