Chief Justice Martha Koome has lauded judges, magistrates and the entire staff at the Milimani Anti-Corruption Court for their work.
Speaking when she visited the court on Tuesday to boost morale in the fight against graft, Koome encouraged them to remain firm and unintimidated.
She lauded their firmness on case withdrawal attempts in corruption cases and for the development and implementation of a Corruption Risk Assessment and Mitigation Plan.
She acknowledged that an Integrity Assurance Committee has been set up with assistance from EACC. The Plan has been applied in case audit, prudent use of budget and procurement.
Koome also discussed the security and safety concerns of judicial officers handling corruption cases.
She cautioned the judicial officers against temptations and urged them to remain incorruptible.
She also promised to resource the Division by continuing to digitise it and boosting its numbers.
The CJ was accompanied by Chief Registrar of the Judiciary Fridah Mokaya, the Registrar of Magistrates and other senior Judiciary officials.
They also visited the National Transcription Centre to appreciate the adoption of technology as an enabler of justice.
