Radio Africa Group's founding Chief Executive Officer Patrick Quarcoo on Sunday hosted a special reunion episode of the iconic Crossfire Podcast.
Quarcoo, who has since announced his retirement after 24 years at the helm had Radio Africa’s Head of Content Paul Ilado as his co-host.
The biggest talk show in the land brought together all contributors who saw the birth of the show back in the early 2000s.
The guests at the show included former UNCTAD secretary-general Mukhisa Kituyi, lawyer Judy Thongor, politician Tony Gachoka and Mathare Social Justice Centre activist scholar Wanjira Wanjiru.
The panelists tackled hot topics which included millennials and Gen Z historic changes, justice for the dead, the new government and the future of Kenya as well as PQ's last word.
In a statement on his exit, Quarcoo reflected on his journey at Radio Africa Group.
He notes that even as he exits, he is hopeful that the company is in a pivotal phase.
"As I retire, Radio Africa Group is entering a pivotal phase of its journey. This transition provides a unique opportunity for the company to realign its strategies, focusing on cost efficiencies, enhancing our profitability and content initiatives."
