President William Ruto and Climate Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale on Thursday graced the official launch of the Climate WorX Mtaani initiative in Korogocho.
The national government's climate action and livelihoods initiative will engage approximately 200,000 youth in environmental sustainability programmes.
These include the 15 billion national tree growing programme.

In attendance during the launch were Principal Secretaries Festus Ng'eno (Environment), Gitonga Mugambi (Forestry), Raymond Omollo (Interior), Teresia Mbaika (Devolution), Charles Hinga (Housing) as well as UN Resident Coordinator in Kenya Stephen Jackson.
