[PHOTOS] Ruto, Raila attend citizens festival in Germany

President William Ruto and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga on Friday attended the Annual Citizens Festival in Berlin, Germany.

The two were accompanied by First Lady Rachel Ruto and Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi.

Kenya was showcasing its heritage, music, drama and creative economy at the festival.

Ruto said the show cases will help bring the Kenyan and German cultures together.

"Kenya and Germany are diverse nations which have recognised the imperative of national unity that transcends differences and harnesses diversity to generate the driving force of progress in every field of national endeavour.

"Glad to be part of the Annual Citizens Festival in Berlin, Germany, together with First Lady Rachel Ruto, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga," the President said.
