President William Ruto has held a meeting with the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment of Indonesia Luhut Binsar Pandjaitanin New York.

In a statement on x, Ruto said Kenya and Indonesia are exploring ways to strengthen ties for shared prosperity.

"In particular, we will collaborate in establishing alternative financing alliances for sustainable development," he said.
