Court rules that Jacob Juma's case agaisnt Yongo will proceed

A Kibera court has ruled that a case in which slain businessman Jacob Juma had accused debt collector Brian Yongo of threatening to kill him will proceed even in his death. Yongo had asked the court to drop the charges against him.She said the threats which were made were not verbal and had been written via text messages.

A Kibera court has ruled that a case in which slain businessman Jacob Juma had accused debt collector Brian Yongo of threatening to kill him will proceed even in his death.

Yongo had asked the court to drop the charges against him.

She said the threats which were made were not verbal and had been written via text messages.

Chief magistrate Ann Ong'injo set the hearing for February 1.
