Tuskys shuts down popular Beba Beba branch after 11 years

Tuskys Supermarkets has shut down its Beba Beba branch in Nairobi after 11 years of operation. The chain announced on Tuesday that property owner Bank of Baroda had sold it. "The new owner has notified us of intent to re-develop the property," it said in a statement. "Wehave put measures in place to accommodate customers to nearby branches and all the 104 employees of the closed branch will be absorbed in other branches.

Tuskys Supermarkets has shut down its Beba Beba branch in Nairobi after 11 years of operation.

The chain announced on Tuesday that property owner Bank of Baroda had sold it.

"We

Beba Beba was one of Tusky's busiest branches in the city.
