Star newspaper correspondent for Siaya Eric Oloo is dead.
Oloo was found dead on Thursday morning at his girlfriend's house.
Police have launched investigations into the murder.
Already, three people have bee arrested following Oloo's death.
Area OCPD Ibrahim Muchuma said the three are in police custody as investigations into the killing commence.
Muchuma confirmed that Oloo was found dead at the house of Inspector Sabina Kerubo who is the Deputy OCS at Ugunja police station in Siaya county.
According to him, Oloo's body had three deep cuts on the head.
The house now marked as a crime scene is just a few metres behind the police station.
Oloo and Kerubo had been cohabiting as husband and wife for a while.
