A man has been arrested for being in possession of an assortment of uniforms belonging to administration police officers at Utawala in Nairobi.

The suspect was nabbed early Wednesday after police officers raided a house belonging to a woman within the estate.

The man is said to be the woman's manager, according to police sources.

The suspect told police that the assortment of uniforms were meant for supplying Administration police training college in Utawala.

Police are yet to establish whether the consignment was meant for supplying the college as claimed.

The recovered uniforms were taken to Ruai police station and the man locked up.

"Police are yet to establish whether the woman has a tender with the AP college and if the uniforms were meant for supplying the same institution, " a police source told the Star.

"We also have issues with how the store is located in insecure place. "
