Wetangula's Ford Kenya takes decisive lead in Kabuchai

Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula was posed to cement his dominance in Western Kenya politics with a decisive win in Kabuchai. With 79 of the 123 polling stations reported by 1 am on Friday, Ford Kenya candidate Joseph Simiyu was leading with 12,040 votes. His closest challenger was United Democratic Alliance Evans Kaikai who had garnered 4,179 votes.

Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula was posed to cement his dominance in Western Kenya politics with a decisive win in Kabuchai.

With 79 of the 123 polling stations reported by 1 am on Friday, Ford Kenya candidate Joseph Simiyu was leading with 12,040 votes.

His closest challenger was United Democratic Alliance Evans Kaikai who had garnered 4,179 votes.

UDA is associated with Deputy President William Ruto who has been seeking to make inroads in Western Kenya.
