Kericho High School has been closed indefinitely after a strike by 1,600 students.
The students went on strike in solidarity with Kipsigis Girls High School who went on strike on Sunday to protest the transfer of their principal Juliana Kirui to Moi Girls High School in Eldoret.
On Monday, Kericho Tea Boys Secondary School students also went on strike to protest the school administration's refusal to allow them to watch a live match between Liverpool and Manchester United.
During the football match, Liverpool hit famed Manchester United 5-0.
During Tuesday's strike, Kericho High left a trail of destruction after smashing windows in one of the dormitories.
The students also attempted to pelt with stone the schools deputy principal Gilbert Mutai over his hard stance on them.
The wave of the strikes that has engulfed the three schools happened within a period of three days.
This has since instilled fear among parents and stakeholders of more strikes should the Ministry of Education fail to act.
One of the parents, who declined to be named, expressed fear that more schools might also strike in solidarity with their colleagues if quick measures are not taken to contain the situation.
Juliana swapped places with Moi Girls principal Christine Chumba.
Kericho county Teachers Service Commission director Grace Karanja has dismissed as untrue claims that Kipsigis Girls were protested the transfer of Juliana to Eldoret.
“The truth of the matter is the girls were protesting poor diet they were being served by the school administration” Karanja said.
Shea denied that the girls were not ready to receive Chumba as their new principal.
"They cheered Chumba the moment she was introduced to them, and none of them showed signs of rejecting her," Karanja said.
