Jubilee party secretary-general Raphael Tuju has denied reports it has rejected Anne Ngirita, a woman who was indicted four years ago over the NYS II scandal.
Speaking to the Star on Tuesday, the ruling party SG said all members who had moved to the UDA party are welcomed to their home, Jubilee.
"Every UDA 'member" coming back home is most welcome," he told the Star.
Ngirita joined Jubilee on Tuesday morning and was welcomed by the party officials in Nakuru.
She is eyeing Nakuru Woman Rep Seat.
Ngirita also announced her defection from the UDA party saying she was heeding calls to return home.
She said she was in the UDA party because of peer pressure even as she revealed her plans for Nakuru residents.
“I know the problems of the youth since I am not well off. I want to work with women and the youth. I got lost but now I am back in Jubilee,” she said.
