Anne Ngirita, who was indicted four years ago over the NYS II Scandal, says she will be vying for the Nakuru Woman Representative.

She ditched William Ruto's UDA party and joined Jubilee Party.

“I know the problems of the youth since I am not well off. I want to work with women and the youth. I got lost but now I am back in Jubilee,” she said.

She said she came back to Jubilee after ODM party leader Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta urged people who had left their respective parties to go back.

Jubilee secretary general Raphael Tuju said all those who want to join the party are welcomed.

Tuju denied reports it has rejected Anne Ngirita, a woman who was indicted four years ago over the NYS II scandal.

Speaking to the Star on Tuesday, the ruling party SG said all members who had moved to the UDA party are welcomed to their home, Jubilee.

"Every UDA 'member" coming back home is most welcome," he told the Star.
