Kenya has recorded 404 new Covid-19 cases from a sample size of 3,075 tested in the last 24 hours.
The positivity rate is now at 13.1 per cent.
Health CS Mutahi Kagwe in a Thursday statement said 335 of the individuals are Kenyans while 69 are foreigners.
He added that 179 of the newly infected are females while 225 are males.
The youngest is one is a one-year-old while the oldest is 102 years old.
The total confirmed positive cases are now 333,694 while cumulative tests so far conducted are at 3,756,995.
No patient has succumbed to the disease meaning the cumulative deaths remain at 5,652.
The number of recovered patients is 252, all from the Home-Based Care and Isolation Program.
"This pushes the number of recoveries to 323,953 of whom 270,748 are from Home-based and Isolation Cases while 53,205 are from the health facilities," Kagwe said.
The number of patients currently admitted to health facilities is 133, while 3,956 are under the Home-Based Isolation and Care program.
Five patients are in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of whom four are under ventilator support while one is on supplemental oxygen.
"Another 24 are in general wards, all on supplementary oxygen.
No patient is in the High Dependency Unit (HDU).
So far, a total of 18,815,675 vaccines have been administered countrywide with 21,306 vaccines in the last 24 hours.
