Roots Party leader George Wajackoyah has said that if elected, he will export hyena meat to China in a bid to boost the country's revenue streams.
Speaking on Thursday night at the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) during his manifesto launch, Wajackoyah said that Kenyans do not need hyena meat and therefore it will be exported.
"Chinese do eat that meat so we will export it to them," he said.
He added that hyena testicles are used for medicinal purposes and are of high value if exported.
"It is said that a thousand hyenas have got about 2,000 testicles and that testicle is used for medicinal purpose in China, and its value is about Sh6 million which is much more than ganja, therefore, we will export the testicles," he said.
Wajackoyah said this will help boost Kenya's economy and the living standards of the citizens.
While at the launch, he added that he will also venture into exporting dog meat.
"One kilogram of dog meat is six times more than goat meat and Kenya is known for exporting goat and lamb to the Middle East, therefore, we will invest in exporting dog meat," he said.
If elected, Wajackoyah pledged to export snake meat and skin to China.
He noted that the snake raring will see the development of shoe making industry rise in Kenya.
"We are introducing snake farming in the country so that we can extract snake poison for the purposes of medication," he said
Wajackoyah noted that toxins extracted from farmed poisonous snakes are worth a fortune in the anti-venom market and can drive Kenya's economy.
Some of his manifestos were already known to the public such as legalizing marijuana, suspending the constitution, deporting idle foreigners from Kenya and the death penalty for corrupt individuals.
