UDA presidential candidate William Ruto has won majority votes in Kabete, Kiambu county.

Ruto garnered 44,129 votes against his Azimio counterpart Raila Odinga who got 15,662.

Roots leader George Wajackoyah managed 425 votes while David Mwaure of Agano got 367 votes.

The number of registered voters was 191,775.

There were 60,583 valid votes in Kabete constituency and 324 rejected votes.

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) must verify Forms 34Bs  from 290 constituencies and the diaspora results before declaring the winner.
