Empty seats as Kenyans celebrate Mashujaa day at Uhuru Gardens

There was low turnout witnessed at Uhuru Gardens even as Kenyans celebrated Mashujaa day.

A spot check by the Star showed empty plastic chairs at the Garden even as president William Ruto inspected the guard of honour.

 Unlike in the past, this day would see many Kenyans trooping in to listen to the president.

However, today there were many empty seats at the Garden.
