Saturday's distribution saw thousands of locals turn up to receive food packages in Aram market.

The CS also used the time to outline the Kenya Kwanza plans to empower local farmers, youth and women.

He also talked about revitalising local industries and uplifting lives of the people of Nyanza to self sufficiency.

On Friday, Owalo launched the Nyanza food distribution drive at Nyangore SDA church in Suba North constituency.
