Rally driver Asad Khan was on Monday evening buried at the Kariokor Cemetery.
His funeral service was held at Parklands Mosque, 3rd Parklands Road, followed by Asr prayers at 4 pm.
He has left behind two children.
Khan died on Sunday evening, days after he was allegedly assaulted by his girlfriend and fellow rally driver, Maxine Wahome.
Wahome was arraigned and freed on a Sh100,000 cash bail pending further probe.
Police are still investigating the incident.
Wahome told police, Khan was injured in an altercation with her after she came home late on December 12 morning.
She added he broke a window pane that injured him in the ankle as she hid on a balcony.
Police plan to ask for directions from the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions on the way forward after Khan died.
They were initially investigating a case of causing bodily harm against Maxine.
