Wananchi Group's Zuku Fibre has announced network disruption in some areas across the country.
In a statement on Monday, the internet supplier said it has been experiencing intermittent downtown on its network, which may affect the quality of services offered.
"Our team is working to restore services in the affected areas within the shortest time possible," the statement said.
The company apologised for any inconvenience caused as it works to restore services.
In the fixed internet market, Zuku rivals Safaricom, which as of 2022, had made the highest profits.
Communications Authority (CA) data shows that Safaricom's share rose to 35.6 per cent in September 2022, from June's 34.3 per cent.
The two companies control the market with a 65 per cent share.
The statement comes following tweets from Zuku customers complaining about the services offered.
Here are some of the tweets:
Zuku needs to refund everybody for the downtime this month. I can’t pay and have little to no connection everyday @ZukuAmazing Fix your service!
