Motorists have been urged to brace for traffic snarl-ups along the Eastern Bypass and adjacent roads.

This will be occasioned by the passing out parade at NPC Embakasi A campus, formerly Administration Police Training College, Utawala.

The event will be presided over by President William Ruto.

"We call on motorists to be patient and observe lane discipline, follow directive given by NPS officers on the ground to allow smooth flow of traffic as we work to ensure normal operations go on," Administration Police Service tweeted.

"We regret any inconveniences that may be caused, but we will work hard to restore normalcy."

Inspector General of the National Police Service Japhet Koome on Monday reviewed the General Service Unit rehearsal parade at the National Police College Embakasi 'B' Campus in Nairobi.

The full dress parade rehearsal was in readiness for the 49th Passing Out Parade which is taking place today.

On Tuesday, President Ruto presided pass-out parade in Kiganjo, Nyeri.

It was the first event for Ruto to preside over since he became president.
