A moment of an altercation between protestors and the police has been witnessed in Jacaranda on Monday.
Police were seen putting out the burning tyres put up by protestors.
In what is seen as a peacemaking process, both the police and protestors were removing stones that had been thrown on the roads.
However, moments later, the police lobbed teargas at the protestors, and they responded by throwing stones.
"Wuuuuii! Wuuuiii! Teargas" some of the protestors were heard shouting as they threw stones.
In Kibra area, police have blocked roads leading to the highly populated estate as they engage protesters in running battles.
They have blocked access to both Ngong and Langáta roads which can be used to access the CBD.
Police have also arrested a number of protesters defying the order not to engage in the demo.
Rowdy youths have been pelting police vehicles with stones with police responding by lobbing teargas canisters.
Earlier, they stoned a vehicle owned by a media house that was ferrying media personnel covering the demo.
In the Kawangware area, police arrested dozens of Azimio supporters pushing to access major roads to the CBD.
They have also rounded up several boda boda riders suspected of transporting protesters using backstreets to the CBD.
Along Juja Road, police blocked protesters from Mathare and neighbouring estates of Dandora and Baba Dogo from accessing the CDB
