Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua has told off Inspector General of police Japheth Koome on the claims to arrest any leader on Monday.
Speaking during a church service, Karua said Azimio leaders and supporters are not afraid of handcuffs.
"Njoo uniweke pingu bure bila makosa bure, niko tayari. Lakini siku yako inakuja," she said.
This translates to: Come and handcuff me and arrest me without any wrongdoing, I'm ready. But a day is coming when it will be your turn
Karua said Azimio leaders cannot and will not be threatened or intimidated by anyone.
Earlier in the day, IG Koome warned against any mass action and assemblies of protests saying they are illegal.
Koome said police will treat everyone equally when arresting protesters in the streets.
Karua said Azimio will hold peaceful protests come Monday and no one will bring chaos.
The Raila-led coalition will be holding its dawn-to-dusk protests in Nairobi and other parts of the country on Monday, March 27, at a time when President William Ruto will be in Berlin.
Ruto has insisted that anyone who will attempt to disrupt business will be dealt with accordingly.
He said that no one was above the law when it comes to the destruction of property.
