Former President Uhuru Kenyatta's family farm, also known as Northlands City, has been set on fire by unknown people.
The property was earlier in the day invaded by unknown people who made away with sheep that were being reared on the expansive parcel of land.
Trees were also felled on the farm during the invasion. Police were not in sight.
An official report from authorities was yet to be released but the invasion was seen to be organised by those opposed to the ongoing protests against the government.
Narok Senator Ledama Olekina condemned the fire incident saying it's "not good at all."
His Nairobi counterpart Edwin Sifuna also condemned the invasion.
"Today it's clear who is interested in peaceful protests and those who see it as an opportunity to invade peoples private property."
Brookside Dairy and Peponi School are among the high-end properties situated inside the vast property.
The city was set to host a real estate haven, including low and high-income residential areas, an agricultural zone, an industrial area, business district and schools.
