Amnesty International and Haki Africa have appealed to the police to be impartial during Thursday’s mass action.
The two organisations regretted that police have not been treating all parties equally in the last two demonstrations.
Haki Africa Executive director Hussein Khalid said the police should not be used by politicians to favour certain areas, properties, or interests.

Maxine murder case
Court to rule on bail application for rally driver Maxine Wahome who is charged with the murder of her boyfriend and fellow rally driver Asad Khan.
It is alleged that on December 12 at Preston Apartments on Oloitoktok Road, she murdered Asad Khan.
She denied the charge before Justice Lilian Mutende.
