Omondi paid hospital bills to a few mothers who had been stuck at Pumwani Hospital in Nairobi.

The mothers were being held after they were unable to pay their hospital bills.

He asked President William Ruto and Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua to take time and visit Kenyans who were having a difficult time financially.

"Please, Gachagua and Ruto, visit Pumwani before you pay people who are billionaires like Evans Kidero, come visit these women. You said it yourself Mr President that this government belongs to boda-bodas, that it belongs to mama mbogas,"  Omondi said.
