Family seeks help to get relative's body detained in hospital

A family in Gatundu is seeking help to release their kin’s body who died on October 6, 2022.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, one of the family members said their father’s body has been held at a city hospital. 

He said the bill amounted to Sh1.8 million while their father was in the hospital.  

However, the family managed to pay an average of Sh600,000 after their father passed on.

The family is now seeking donations from people to help them clear the remaining bill, for the body to be released.

“The hospital had told us to make an effort and clear the remaining bill. As a family, we are seeking help from people to assist us in paying the remaining bills. We have a loan amounting to more than Sh850,000,” said the family member.

“We are asking everyone to assist us in paying the bill to bury our father the correct way and have some peace."
