Fallen power poles hamper traffic on Thika Road

The Kenya National Highways Authority has warned motorists of a traffic snarl up on Thika Road's Nairobi-bound service lane at Ruiru.

This has been occasioned by fallen electricity poles and cables across the road.

KeNHA, however, said it is working on removing the obstacles.

"KeNHA PBC Contractors, Kenya Power Teams and Kenya Police are on site to ensure restoration of traffic," the authority said in a statement.
