The Orange Democratic Movement now says that they have had a peaceful procession after the Azimio motorcade cut through various city estates on Tuesday.
According to the party, nobody was robbed or harassed during the procession.
The party claimed that all they heard from Kenyans was how tired they are of President William Ruto's administration.
This is despite the Azimio motorcade not making a single stop as they came from Kawangware to Westlands and finally to Kiambu Road.
"We have had a peaceful procession from Kawangware-Kangemi-Waruku-Westlands-Parklands-Muthaiga-Kiambu Rd with the full escort of the police in 15 Landcruisers. Nobody was robbed. No mama mboga was harassed. Everyone was cheering on and saying how tired they are with the regime," ODM said.
It also remains unclear if Raila was part of the convoy.
Raila had called on his supporters to come out in large numbers on Tuesday from 6 am, to protest over the high cost of living and demand for the opening of IEBC servers for scrutiny.
On Tuesday morning, various incidents were reported of suspected goons robing passengers and setting vehicles on fire.
A bus and trailer were torched along the Ngong Road and Southern Bypass respectively by unknown goons.
Before the protests began, security was beefed around the city, to maintain law and order.
