Increasing food production, enhancing national revenues, slashing borrowing and delivering an ambitious housing programme are at the heart of President William Ruto’s plan to transform Kenya.
The head of state revealed the inside details during his second joint media interview at State House in Nairobi on Sunday evening.
During the interview televised on local TV stations, Ruto delved into his elaborate plans to produce more food to turn around the economy and lower the cost of living.
Ruto also banks on the housing programme to create jobs and eliminate undignified living in slums.
He also revealed how his Kenya Kwanza government intends to revamp the education sector with massive employment of teachers.
