Jubilee rebels on Tuesday attended the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group (PG) at State House.
This is despite Former President Uhuru Kenyatta( Jubilee party leader) cracking the whip on Monday and expelling several former and current MPs.
In attendance were Jubilee leaders led by Nominated MP Sabina Chege, Adan Keynan (Eldas), Kanini Kega (EALA MP), Fatma Dullo (Isiolo Senator), Yusuf Hassan (Kamukunji) among others.
Last Friday, MP Sabina Chege expressed her full support for the Presidency of William Ruto.
Sabina said she cannot stand to say Ruto is not the President.
"Mr President I went to the other side briefly but when my boss gave you the powers to continue being the new boss, I cannot stand to say you are not the President. I respect, honour and support you," Chege said.
Isiolo Senator Fatuma Dullo vowed to stand by President Ruto despite her expulsion from Senate leadership.
Dullo said that she will not change her mind about supporting the Kenya Kwanza government.
"Nataka kusema hivi, kwanzia leo mimi ni footsoldier wako wa kwanza," she said
(I want to say that from today, I'm your first foot soldier).
On Monday, the Uhuru-led party cracked the whip and EALA MP Kega and Nominated MP Sabina Chege were expelled as Jubilee lined up new National Executive Committee members.
Jubilee secretary general Jeremiah Kioni said the new members will replace rebel members who have joined the Kenya Kwanza coalition.
