President William Ruto on Tuesday chaired the Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group (PG) at State House.
This is the sixth since he assumed office with the last having been held on April 11, 2023.
On Sunday while in Isiolo, the President revealed that part of the agenda to be discussed will be to plan development projects in various counties and ways of addressing unemployment in the country.
“We are going to have a meeting with the legislators to plan on how we can set up ICT hubs in every ward in Kenya so that we can create digital jobs for our youth,” he said.
Ruto also said he had already agreed with the governors on having agricultural and industrial parks in each county as well as markets in each sub-county as part of the plan.
Ruto is also set to use the meeting to implore the legislators to pass the Finance Bill 2023 once it is presented in the House.
The public had until May 20 to submit views on the bill before it is adopted.
