Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka has reiterated that opposition leader Raila Odinga has been rigged out of presidential elections thrice.

Kalonzo said the ODM leader lost the presidency through rigging in 2013,2017 and 2022.

He spoke on Tuesday during the opening of a new dormitory block at Miumbuni AIC Secondary School in Mitaboni, Machakos County.

"2013 ikaibiwa, 2017 ikaibiwa, 2022 ikaibiwa. Sasa mpaka ndugu yangu Raila amekuwa kazi yake ni kuibiwa," he said.

The former Vice President said they had decided to re-strategise in the August 2022 presidential elections and have Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua as Raila's running mate.

In the past times, Raila ran alongside Kalonzo. "But it was still stolen," he said.

He, however, noted that despite the loss, Karua's picking had bestowed honour to women.

"But you women got praised. So let us clap for these women," he added.

In April 2022, Kalonzo accused then Deputy President William Ruto of rigging the 2013 and 2017 elections.

In his accusations he, however, protected former President Uhuru Kenyatta, saying he was not aware of the incidents.

"During the 2013 and 2017 elections, Ruto stole our votes. We had won the elections with Raila. I have come to realise that it is Ruto who was rigging elections and not Uhuru," he said while speaking at Maili Tisa in Kajiado Central.
