President William Ruto on Wednesday displayed his skills when he drove a Safari Rally car.
Before driving, the President was cautious and asked if the brakes and clutches were working properly.
Ruto wore full black rally attire and was helped to put on a helmet, he also had a rally driver as a co-driver during his ride.
The President first reversed the car before accelerating it forward and then drove for about one minute.
After the race, the President said that he had a good experience and described his co-driver as a great person.
"It was great, you are such a great guy, it is out of this world, I have never known something like this exists. I got into the rally car and it was quite something, my stomach almost gave way," he said.
"It was a wonderful experience, it is great really and absolute madness but it is an experience you cannot forget. The speed, you can hardly see the road, the bents and they are really professional."
Ruto said that driving a rally car was a life-changing adventure and when asked if he could try it again, the President laughed saying he is not sure.
He said Kenyans have an emotional connection with the rallies because they grew up watching the races.
"I did not know people were enjoying much, we always watch from outside but today I have experienced it," he said.
