New details have emerged revealing that Labour CS Florence Bore vacated the controversial Karen home on Monday.

A spot-check by Citizen TV at the Karen home on Wednesday showed the house was vacant.

Sources close to the CS said she moved out of the house after owner of the house wired back the 10 per cent deposit she had paid. The amount was paid to her account on Monday, June 19, 2023.

The CS was on Tuesday given a 24-hour notice to vacate the home by Amara Manco Villa, the alleged property manager of the said house.

In a statement seen by the Star on Tuesday, Amara Manco representative and treasurer Edwin Dande said they received a complaint from the owner of Villa 6.

"The Villa is currently being occupied without authorisation and we should proceed to withhold all services to the Villa, including access," he said.

"Pursuant to a homeowners meeting held on June 19, 2023, it was resolved that you provide the management company with either the executed sale agreement or executed lease agreement or any legal documentation that granted you access to the Villa 6."

He said that as per the records, the Villa owner said that he has never granted any access to Bore.

"In line with our obligations and mandate as the management company, and to ensure a harmonious co-existence within our community, kindly provide the above-requested information within 24 hours," Dande said.

He said that failure to provide the information, they shall sanction the disconnection of all services.

However, the CS had not yet reacted to the letter addressed to her at the time of going to press.

On Sunday, the CS said in a statement that she entered into a contractual agreement with a company associated with Gatanga Member of Parliament, Edward Muriu to buy the house at a negotiated and agreed purchase price.

"Resultantly, I signed my part of the agreement for sale and transmitted the agreement through my lawyers to the vendor's lawyers for signing on their part," Bore said.

The CS said Muriu Mungai & Company (MMC Asafo) acting for the vendor, acknowledged receipt of the signed agreement for sale by stamping on the forwarding letter by her lawyers.
