Nairobi Governor Johnson Sakaja made the headlines after he broke down in front of the president while giving a speech.

They had attended the launch of the Nairobi School Feeding Programme at Roysambu Primary School, Nairobi.

The governor displayed his emotional side while speaking about the programme dubbed 'Dishi na County'.

As he struggled to fight his emotions, a woman was seen heading towards where he was standing.

The woman made an attempt to embrace him but the governor was seen stepping back to avoid the embrace.

She however did proceed with her mission and embraced Sakaja as another person offered him a handkerchief.

Sakaja's comforter was Mlango Kubwa MCA Susan Makungu Kavaya.

She was elected to the County Assembly on a United Democratic Alliance(UDA) ticket.

During Former President Uhuru Kenyatta's regime, Kavaya was among the nominated Members of the County Assembly under Jubilee.

Kavaya comes from Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County.

She is said to have attended St. Teresa’s Girls’ High School and later on, went to NIBS Technical College before joining Daystar University.

In February, Kavaya won a lawsuit against four men who were alleged to be cyberbullying her by posting comments about her in a WhatsApp group.

She had told the court how the four asked her for money to take down the posts but she refused.
